Our Half-Day Camp Themes
Astro Innovators: NASA
Campers use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like and astronaut, and solve real-world engineering problems. They will present their project and work on science communication skills.
Science Explorations
In this sampler of science topics, children discover how to send secret messages to their friends using special codes, explore how physics is at work in their favorite sports, and become young astronauts while exploring the mysteries of the solar system.
Chemicals, Cells & Crime
Children explore the inside of the body and learn about the organ systems and the cells that it's composed of. They discover cool chemical reactions, and how to solve a crime, in this hands-on summer science adventure!
Robot Recruit
Children learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. They discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. They build their very own working robot to take home with them!
Rockin' Rockets
From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this hands-on program for children ages 5-12 will allow them to build many different flying devices, see Newton's laws of motion in action, and learn how rockets get to space.
Underground Explorers
Kids learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities! They discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life! They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils. Each class also includes a make and take-home project, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world!
Crazy Chemworks
Crazy Chemworks lets kids shake up a flask of fun in the lab as a junior chemist! They get familiar with real laboratory equipment, build and break molecules, and pick up some tricks on chemical changes.
